A European conference in Brussels

2 March 2011, Brussels.

Organisations and institutions from many countries in Europe will gather to work on the phenomenon of the Left Behind Children, which is strongly connected with the complex migration issues of the last few years.

Romania, Lithuania, Lathvia and Poland will talk about the specific situation in their countries; family difficulties in the countries of migration will also be tackled.

The conference wiil have a intense morning work on the topic. Its results will be presented in the afternoon at the European Parliament, also accompanied by a call for action to the European institutions. The meeting will be hosted by Vice President Roberta Angelilli and by Rovana Plumb Member of Committee on Employment and Social Affairs.
